We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer focused Pricing Analyst II to join Korea Pricing Team. You will partner closely with the various stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, CX, and FPA teams on projects to improve our price positioning and data accuracy.

Position Summary:

Are you a problem solver who loves a challenge and wants to help guide our pricing strategies? The Pricing Analyst II in Korea will support to achieve revenue goals through price attainment within Thermo Fisher Scientific. Establish price standards, strategies, and performance. Build organizational capabilities and communicates key pricing insights and recommendations to Leadership teams and other relevant business partners. You will have the opportunity to build your network across the organization with the various projects you will support and lead.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Commercial teams with pricing guidance and suggestion, and pricing tool support to drive business.

Retrieve, consolidate, analyze, and summarize data from various pricing reference tool and make appropriate business recommendations.

Drive price discipline and promote price/value opportunities (e.g., review of sales quotations, consultation on price discounts with sales marketing team, PM etc.)

Validate and sign-off on data integrity for 300K SKU

Drive the renewal of annual price agreements, leading all aspects of implementation, communication, and training.

Perform ad-hoc data analysis for various internal customers.

Guide team on optimized customer pricing

Initiate and participate in projects to support local/corporate initiatives.

Train/present to sales team new pricing tools/initiatives/strategies.

Produce management reports to highlight pricing opportunities.

Support the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that improve existing performance.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Mathematics or related field

2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or related field, preferably in the life science industry

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential

Good presentation skills

Demonstrated project management capabilities

Able to interface effectively with internal customers from all levels of the organization

Good written and oral communication, as well as influencing skills is required

Demonstrated technical ability, particularly with excel spreadsheet applications (experience with Cognos and Power BI a plus)

Good organizational skills are vital, as is the ability to use own initiative and collaborate well within a team
