Your role and responsibilities

The IBM Canada Consulting Financial Analyst is part of the IBM Canada Consulting organization, reporting directly to the Canada Consulting CFO. Key deliverables include measuring, forecasting, and planning for Consulting brand in Canada. Key tasks include forecast process, month end activities, directing revenue splitting, accounting checklists, supporting the plan process, and ad hoc response to day-to-day business unit issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparing month end reports, bridges, annual budgets, forecasts and business analytics

Ingenuity Creativity with ability to work in rapidly transformational changing environments

Building Excel Models

Executing Journal Entries

Preparing and Updating Weekly Roadmap Reports

Creating Executive Presentations

Acting as trusted business advisor

Recommending and implementing process improvements to improve productivity

Work on special projects as assigned

Opportunity to interact on daily basis with senior management and executives up to CFO level

Required technical and professional expertise

Knowledge of Accounting Financial concepts

Demonstrates communication and presentation skills

Proficient multi-tasking and analytical skills

Intermediate excel skills, such as pivot tables, macros, and are able to execute advanced formulas (Vlookups If Functions) in order to quickly analyze data

Preferred technical and professional experience

Business career with at least 2 years completition
