Description

We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for an entry-level Financial Analyst in Hiawatha, Iowa, United States. In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to perform various tasks related to financial services, such as collecting, aggregating, updating, and maintaining the financial information of municipal borrowers.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate a large volume of financial statements from organizations across the nation

• Extract relevant data from these financial statements and input this data into a proprietary database

• Continually update and maintain this financial information as new financial statements become available

• Conduct extensive online research to compile company financial information

• Utilize strong spreadsheet software skills to manage and analyze data

• Apply analytical skills to interpret Form 10-K and Form 10-Q

• Use applied statistics for financial analysis and tax accounting

• Work independently to meet team goals and maintain productivity in a quiet environment.

Requirements • The applicant should hold a Bachelor's or Honours Degree in Finance or Accounting

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• The ability to analyze Financial Statements is necessary

• Familiarity with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q is required

• Knowledge in Applied Statistics is preferred

• Understanding of Tax Accounting is important

• Experience in Investment Financial Analysis is advantageous
