The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities

Financial Data Analysis:

Analyze financial performance and trends by extracting, organizing, and interpreting complex data from multiple systems (Source: Finance Accounting).

Develop insights to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Support the creation and maintenance of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.

Monitor budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to management for adjustments.

Reporting:

Prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards for leadership, including profitability analyses, cash flow projections, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other ad hoc reports (Source: Financial Reporting).

Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner.

Modeling and Scenario Planning:

Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential business opportunities, investments, and projects.

Assess risks and propose strategic approaches to mitigate those risks.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.

Support internal and external audits by providing accurate reports and documentation.

Process Improvement:

Analyze and improve financial processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with IT and other departments on automation efforts related to financial reporting and analysis (Source: Finance Product Technology).

Requirements

Key Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).

Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CFP) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or an equivalent role.

Previous experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).

Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Core Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.

High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
