Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong accounting background and a passion for accuracy and excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciling and assessing balance sheet accounts, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and identifying potential correcting entries for variances.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to identify variances and prepare potential correcting entries.

Navigate and utilize accounting and financial software to perform reconciliations and related functions efficiently.

Review and assess accounts thoroughly to ensure compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies.

Assist with audit preparation and processes, leveraging previous audit experience if applicable.

Maintain accuracy and consistency in financial reporting by identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications Skills:

Strong accounting background with experience in managing balance sheet reconciliations.

Proficiency in quickly learning and applying new accounting software.

Exceptional attention to detail with a knack for identifying variances and discrepancies.

Knowledge of compliance reporting and proper accounting processes.

2+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to audits as a plus.

Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP software are highly desirable.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
