Description There is an opening for a Financial Analyst at a fast-growing, dynamic team via Robert Half —the Financial Analyst will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity in the Apex, North Carolina, area. You might be right for this Financial Analyst position if you're looking for work where you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. The strongest Financial Analyst candidates will also be comfortable with advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Create effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and recommendation support

　　Keep up weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

　　Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

　　Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

　　Monitor monthly and quarterly performance by comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources effectively

　　Produce and monitor forecasting reports

　　Work closely with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans

　　Research performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

　　Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

　　Individual that enjoys a flexible work environment, experienced in handling vast amounts of information and managing expectations

　　Operate with key senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization Requirements - Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

　　Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)

　　Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

　　Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience

　　Excel Formulas experience desired

　　Strong familiarity with Pivot Table

　　Proven knowledge of Provide Financial Analysis

　　Command of VLOOKUP

　　Experience with financial analysis

　　Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

　　Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

　　BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
