Welcome Home! Disney Vacation Club (DVC) FP&A Finance team is currently seeking a Financial Analyst . DVC is a fast paced, dynamic business that is part of Disney Signature Experiences, an entrepreneurial growth engine for the Disney Experiences segment. This team is responsible for financial planning, analysis and consolidation of the P&L for the DVC business.
This Financial Analyst role plays a key role in monthly and quarterly forecasts and the development of long term pan and the annual operating plan. This position provides financial support for DVC’s financing business and various revenue and G&A departments. Success in the role involves becoming a trusted partner, providing sound financial analysis, as well as a demonstrated organization and communication skills. This position will be working closely with DVC partners and key partners across the site including Financial Reporting, Financial Systems, and others.
This position is located in the Orlando, Florida area, reporting to the Manager Finance, DVC Financial Planning and Analysis.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and consolidate financial planning cycles including Long Term Plan (LTP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and forecasts. Create and post journal entries for month end processes.
Analyze ongoing trends and monitor key indicators which may influence DVC’s performance.
Preform financial analysis and develop PowerPoint presentations in support of business initiatives.
Develop and perform financial analyses on DVC Financing business and other revenue streams.
Provide financial support to various G&A departments and their leadership.
Provide DVC data to industry reporting agency, research competitors and provide quarterly reports.
Develop and cultivate relationships with key partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience with internal financial and accounting processes (Long-Term Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Monthly Forecasts, Month-End / Quarter-End Close, etc.)
Strong experience-based MS Excel, Longview / EDP, and SAP skills
Exceptional partnering / relationship-building skills across areas and levels
Proven analytical / strategic-thinking skills with close attention to detail
Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate clearly while incorporating “storytelling”
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or EconomicsPreferred Education
