　　Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre is now recruiting a Finance tutor to join the existing teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching modules in Accounting and Finance to students on university preparation programmes offered by the Centre.

　　This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative tutor.  The right candidate will have a natural ability to motivate students and deliver high-quality teaching as well as carry out relevant pastoral functions.  You will enjoy working with international students, be performance driven and be able to work co-operatively and flexibly with other colleagues within the centre and across the network. We are looking for a patient tutor who is committed to providing an interesting and effective blended learning experience to our students.

　　ABOUT THE ROLE 

　　Join our innovative team dedicated to delivering exceptional education to international students. As a key member of our faculty, you will:

　　Deliver high-quality teaching to diverse groups of international students.

　　Teach up to a maximum of 25 hours per week (teaching contact time) across a number of different modules on the Business pathway. 

　　Act as a Module Leader, coordinating a team of tutors and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

　　Create and update engaging teaching materials to enhance the learning experience.

　　Implement innovative enhancement and enrichment activities both in and out of the classroom.

　　Maintain accurate progression tracking and student performance data.

　　Actively promote the use of differentiation and technology-enhanced learning.

　　ABOUT YOU

　　Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area (Essential)

　　Masters and/or PhD in the subject area (Desirable for level 3, Essential to teach at level 6)

　　Relevant teaching qualification (Desirable)

　　Substantial hands-on teaching experience teaching ideally to International students on university preparation courses up to Pre-Masters level. 

　　Experience in developing and updating teaching materials for blended learning, and experience working with a Virtual Learning Environment.
