We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our compliance marketplace team which has the vision to enable selling partners to make their selection available to customers by developing and delivering continuous improvement initiatives for selling partner and amazon compliance. The role will be part of the EU Marketplace Finance organization. You will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders in Luxembourg, in the main European markets (UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain) and in our global HQ in Seattle with a focus on understanding and influencing the business and financial performance in increasing compliance for upcoming legislations for the EU marketplace business.
Key job responsibilities
•Support the business team in designing compliance products that serve our vision of making compliance a competitive advantage for Amazon.
•Closely collaborate with business partners to develop models to assess the impact of new legislation on sellers and on Amazon’s financials.
•Build tools to track impact of tax/product & sustainability legislation on Amazon business.
•Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
•Support ad hoc analyses, review business cases, analyze performance versus goals and actively participate in projects to ensure we are taking the right decisions in our business.
•Proactively collaborate and consult with relevant business and finance teams across Europe and Worldwide to benchmark, to identify and to implement best practices.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
Experience in accounts receivable or account payable
Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
