JOB REQUIREMENTS: GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Responsible for supporting thestrategic development and performance of the region and guiding,directing financial and controlling activities for both ManitouEquipment America and Manitou North America entities. This role willprotect assets, meet reporting requirements, provide timely andmeaningful reporting and analysis of operations, effectively plan forand audit the financial needs and to help assure that decisions withfinancial implications are compatible with company objectives. Providestrategic financial support to the established companies long-termplans, financial metrics and policies, and make recommendations forimprovements to strategy and operations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Workclosely with the Group CFO to ensure efficiency, coherence, andoptimization for the finance function within the Manitou Group and thedifferent subsidiaries. Responsible for the finance strategy of the UScompanies by translating company objectives, and providing creativesupport, planning and coordination to the total finance effort forManitou US. Direct and coordinate general and cost accounting, taxcompliance, budgeting and financial analysis, and general financial andcredit activities of Manitou US. Provide support in the development andcontinuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financialobjectives through the participation in key decisions that relate to thecompany initiatives, operating model and operational execution. Developtools, systems and performance measures to provide critical financialand operational information to the executive staff. Direct thepreparation of month-end, quarterly and year-end financial statements,and coordinate budget and if applicable forecast operations. Providesound and timely managerial decisions and implement controls compatiblewith corporation objectives through the provision of evaluated financialoperational data and information to management. Serve as a key point ofcontact for auditors and is responsible for managing the auditingprocess. Participate in the sales financing partnership decisions.Performs other related duties and projects as required. Stronglycontribute to the success of the new ERP implementation and changemanagement. Lead, organize and support the growth of the finance team.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: Ten tofifteen years\' experience involving accounting, financial managementand supervision. International mindset is preferred, derived throughinternational experience, to include either working outside the UnitedStates, or within the United States but with experience on internationaltransactions or supervision of foreign subsidiaries. Must be able tocommunicate and establish harmonious relationships with all levels ofpersonnel; multiple languages desirable. Working knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP rules, policies and procedures is required.
