Summary
The Regional Field Training Supervisor, is a supervisory role under the guidance of the Regional Director of HR/Talent Management, is responsible for the delivery, administration, and measurement of all Baker Southeast Region training initiatives to include, Project Manager Academy, Field Leadership/Crew Chief Training, Craft Training/Apprenticeship Program as well as the development of other trainings as neededAdditionally, the Regional Training Supervisor will be responsible for fostering relationships with local Technical Schools and High Schools and working with various County sponsored apprenticeship/workforce training programs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Administer all Regional Training.
Evaluate and select craft instructors and SME’s for formwork and concrete finishing to deliver the craft training/apprenticeship curriculum.
Provide support and guidance tofield leadership training/apprenticeship participants. Advise and support participants as mentors and role models in achieving their learning and career goals.
Observe field leadership training participants’ performance on the job (when feasible and appropriate) and in the related instruction.
Develop and maintain working relationships with Project Supervision teams to ensure that trainees gain real-world, hands-on application of items taught in the classroom.
Manage the reporting of all training results and maintain all training documentation for all participants.
Design/develop the training programcurriculum and any training material needed for the program, including workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, and tests.
Create and apply training program assessments to measure their effectiveness.
Translation of training content: Spanish to English and English to Spanish
Requirements
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with ability to translate written content, is required
• 5 years or more of related training experience is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Learning, or Craft Training is a plus
• Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Experience with developing training programs for all levels of an organization
• Ability to create partnerships with operational leaders
• Ability to work independently with little supervision in a self-driven manner
• Ability to travel and work construction hours, as required
