JOB REQUIREMENTS: Field Service Technician-Network Specialist JobLocations US-WI-Waunakee ID 2023-22993 Company TDS Telecom Pay Range\$26.55 - \$39.82 Overview As a Field Service Technician-NetworkSpecialist in Waunakee, WI, you will have overall responsibility formaintaining a highly reliable network of systems including the centraloffice switch, carrier and transmission equipment, fiber electronics,business communication systems, and/or all other auxiliary equipment.This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of networkinfrastructure and circuits, as well as digital switch devices and crossconnects. This position participates on project teams and may leadprojects. This position has a familiarity with a variety of thetelecommunications concepts, practices, and procedures. This positionalso installs, maintains, and repairs telecommunications products thatTDS sells and leases (Key Systems, PBX, Centrex Systems, and/or otherbusiness systems); installs, maintains, and repairs switching equipmentincluding carrier, DSAs, remotes and related transmission equipment aswell as complex PBX systems. Services include but are not limited toTelephony, Video/CATV/DBS, Internet, and/or high speed networks. TheFST-Network Specialist has direct, face-to-face contact with ourcustomers and is expected to be proactive with the sales of TDS servicesand products. This position exceeds customer expectations by performingextraordinary customer service, identifying customer needs, andproviding them with communications solutions. This position understandshow to use and demonstrate TDS products and seeks sales opportunitieswhile educating the customer. Products & services include (but are notlimited to): Local Service, Central Office Services, Structured Cabling,MAC (Moves, Adds and Changes), Voice Mail, Audio and/or VideoConferencing, and Non-regulated CPE. The FST-Network Specialist may beresponsible for performing varied or additional duties to meet demandsof TDS which may include duties of other Field Services Technicianpositions. The pay range listed for this position represents the low andhigh end of the base compensation range.
