Field Service Server (FSS) Engineer
The Irish subsidiary of Applied Materials is part of the Applied Global Services Business Unit and is the service part of the semiconductor business based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, supporting local installations of Applied equipment with maintenance and advanced support services. We are currently looking for an experienced S emi-Conductor Equipment Engineer with a focus on data analysis to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Point of Contact for FSS (data collection, mining & analysis) support teams for server setup, configuration, support.
Work with global support team as Point of Contact and local owner for setup and configuration of FSS to collect and manipulate data packages from Semi-conductor process tools.
Maintain and Improve MS Teams notification strategies for status and OOC alerts.
Review FSS Notifications and coordinate responses with Lead equipment/process engineers.
Adjust limits / refine FSS notifications (UVA alerts, EC alerts, Tool Alarm Alerts, reports, etc…)
Review EHM & UVA Coverage for Process Changes - Review UVA Limits with Lead equipment/process engineer.
Provide notification Summary, HVP summary, and deployment reports to FSO Management.
Collaborate with Digital Tools Council to share BKMs.
Meet with Lead engineer for toolset Investigations and FSS operations.
Collaborate with toolset owner on initial server connection and troubleshooting as needed.
Review UVA coverage, and notifications for trends.
Work with Lead engineer to define new UVA model opportunities.
Meet with regional TEE team for deployment status/help needed.
Learn and transfer key findings/ effective workflows from other sites to the Ireland organisation.
Skills/Experience:
Developed expertise in a variety of work processes or activities typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
Builds and maintains customer satisfaction through clear, consistent communication and the sharing of collective knowledge.
High degree of technical expertise, customer focus, team involvement and flexibility.
Experienced in semi-conductor [CVD/ETCH/PVD/CMP/Implant/EPI. etc.] tools process, controls and diagnostics.
Excellent computer skills – MS Office and data manipulation packages (Excel, Jmp, etc).
Good networking fundamentals – data package transfer – IP/networking basics and troubleshooting.
A background in data collection, analysis, manipulation and can clearly communicate with stakeholders to present that data value.
Demonstrates a strong grounding in IP sensitivity and control.
Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures.
Experience
