This mission critical roleinvolves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis(RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, Membrane Bio Reactor andultrafiltration (UF) - in both pure water and waste water applications. If you likethe idea of working in a challenging role doing meaningful work you can feel proud of, here's more...What you will do:* Operate, monitor, and optimize RO equipment performance at P66 Ferndale refinery* Possible support in surrounding areas for ongoing operations as required* On call support as needed for ongoing site operations* Conduct maintenance and calibration activities* Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, inaddition to various other site-specific testing requirements* Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems* Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts* Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, aircompressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation* Create and maintain site paperwork, weekly, monthly reports and provide customers withdetailed technical summaries of work performed* Develop site specific procedures applicable to the operation of our pure water and wastewaterequipment at a variety of customer sites including refining, nuclear, and beverage accounts* Consult with customer management and operation teams* Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications* Reside within 60 minutes of assigned site* Other duties as requiredAbout You:This is a service role and you'll bring your positive attitude to work with you every day becausemaking other people happy makes you happy. To be successful in this role you should have thefollowing:* High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment* A minimum of 2 years experience in industrial water treatment related to MMF, RO, UF minorchemical injection systems desired* Working experience with chemical injection systems and troubleshooting is preferred* Experience in hands on mechanical and minor electrical work* Previous experience developing and maintaining site safety management systems(EHScompliance)* Previous experience with the operation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation used forquality assurance on water treatment equipment* Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed, Target is 50-60%* Ability to gain and maintain access to sites as assigned including refineries/Nuclear unescortedaccess* Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record per Fleet department guidelines
