　　Your Role

　　Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a dedicated Operational Analyst - Distribution to join our National Contact Logistics Team. Reporting to the National Distribution Manager you will be providing operational assistance and working instruction for all Distribution operations. You will also participate in new customer implementation, supporting the operational team to deliver exceptional customer service. This position is based in Eastern Creek.

　　Your Responsibilities

　　Your primary objective will be to deliver against our distribution strategy by ensuring that vendor management is a priority and key factor in gaining and retaining customers. You will do this by working with a variety of internal and

　　external stakeholders, while focusing on the following key objectives:

　　To manage vendor sourcing deals, contracts, delivery and quality for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring that commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P+L level, also ensuring on time delivery withsuppliers.

　　To evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.

　　To develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.

　　To review and approve a comprehensive list of suppliers for tender processes developed by analyzing the local market, understanding trends and competitive positioning in order to ensure the best possible supply base.

　　To take action to reduce costs, focusing on creating greater efficiencies, economies of scale or a greater quality of resources. #LI-DNI

　　Strong knowledge of the logistics industry, having worked with 3PL or distribution carriers in a similar role

　　Strong commercial acumen, including tender management and evaluation

　　Proficiency utilising Microsoft Excel, including experience with Macros
