About Field Service Representative

  Eaton's ESSG EESSD Electrical Engrg Svcs Systems Div division is currently seeking a Field Service Representative.

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $58500.0 - $85800.0 a year.

  Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  What you'll do:

  The Field Service Representative is responsible for providing field service support and consultation such as acceptance testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high voltage systems. You will advise customers and provide best technical solutions to solve customer issues. You will complete assigned jobs with assistance from lead technicians and engineers. In addition, you will conduct required tests and calibration using test equipment and check and maintain equipment to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

  In this function you will:

  Work on assigned projects for electrical equipmentDeliver technical solutions to customersPerform less conventional complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, or research investigationsDisplay proficiency in the following: Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Control Design

  Qualifications:

  Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  High School Diploma or higher with a minimum of 1 year of field service experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systemsPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's licenseMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the futureAll candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work locations listed. No relocation will be offered for this position. Active Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  Preferred qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology) from an accredited institution.Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis is highly desirable.Experience with protective relays is highly desirable.
