　　You are a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in line with Alfa Laval drivers, Action, Interaction, and Satisfaction. You are driven and see solutions rather than problems, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks.

　　The Field Mechanic is available for 24/7 on call field service labor for gasketed plate heat exchangers to ensure reliable operation.

　　Must be able to manage travel costs and operating expenses associated with field service visits.

　　You can expect to:

　　Provides mechanical maintenance on gasketed plate heat exchangers (GPHE)Startup and shut down equipment in accordance to company and customer safety procedure in line with OSHA requirements.Prepares expense reports and written service reports for work performed on each job no later than two weeks of job completionCreate job time and expense reports, Concur expense reports, and payroll reports required for all Field Service team members.Obtain Signed Time Summary sheets from the customer upon completion of job.Along with a High School Diploma or Equivalent, you will have:

　　Two years hands-on, mechanical experience that includes solid mechanical skills and technical aptitude

　　Ability to communicate to the customers theOperational and Safety parameters for Alfa Laval equipment

　　Capable of working in a team as well as handling individualresponsibilities

　　Must have basic PC utilization skills for word, excel

　　Ability to learn and use systems required for the administration of service and expense reports

　　Capable of lifting 65 pounds and perform tasks requiring physical strength (climbing, sit, kneel or stand for extended periods, equipment/tool use)

　　Perform jobs in line with OHSA requirements

　　Complete established safety training programs

　　Capable of handling exposure to heat, cold, noise, various type of facility, and levels of cleanliness

　　Requires the ability to drive a company vehicle, and have a valid drivers license

　　Proficiency with towing a trailer is desired. DOT Medical Certification a plus, but not required.

　　Must be able to wear a safety respirator, as needed. (Clean shaven, if necessary when job requires it)

　　Travel required is 75-85%

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall salary range for this role is typically $22/HR-$24/HR; with travel and overtime pay + company vehicle.
