　　Position Purpose:

　　The Dietary Assistant responsible for the preparation of quality foods for patients, cafeteria, and catering service. Functions in a leadership role, monitoring performance and quality of assigned staff.

　　What you will do:

　　Performs food service duties to enhance overall care to patients.

　　Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients, and family member.

　　Ability to perform a variety of food service duties including cashiering, sandwich making, grill work, salad bar prep, cleaning, restocking, etc. Ability to maintain work areas in a safe, sanitary manner by performing several cleaning duties.

　　Performs other special assignments.

　　Minimum Qualifications :

　　Education : High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).

　　Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

　　Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation.

　　Experience in a cafeteria type food services operation preferred.

　　Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
