Responsibilities Responsible for program direction, execution, and review of all activities within the Central Yukon Field Office. Plan, budget, organize, implement, and evaluate a broad array of complex resource management programs requiring intensive multiple use management skills. Conduct resource planning and management in coordination with representatives of Federal, State, tribal and local governments, the general public, public land users and private landowners. Make decisions that sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to be rated as qualified for this position, we must be able to determine that you meet the qualification requirements - please be sure to include this information in your resume. No assumptions will be made about your experience. You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is performing the following duties 1) implementing a complex land and natural resource program; 2) coordinating land and resource planning and management with federal, state or local governments; 3) ensuring proper utilization of personnel, equipment, material and finances for field offices; and 4) implementing education and training programs for subordinate staff. (NOTE: Experience must include experience with land and natural resources).
