Responsibilities:
Vision setup and testing on equipment/ products.
Troubleshoot programming, sequencing and electrical signaling issues to resolve automation challenges.
Applies existing technology and technical concepts creatively to solve problems.
Verifying system drawings including ability to review and existing PLC programs as well as verifying electrical schematics with support of an Automation engineer.
Editing and saving PLC configurations.
Vision system recipe troubleshooting.
Updating the Bill of Materials or communicating any changes to PM.
Managing the responsibilities on multiple simultaneous projects and/or clients.
Requirements
Cognex VisionPro toolset programming and troubleshooting experience
Demonstrates understanding of applicable technical concepts in vision and automation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to transition between the two.
Capacity to make independent sound decisions and independently manage priorities.
Communicating complex, technical concepts in simple, concise oral conversation and written documentation.
Demonstration of PLC Programming and Vision Tool expertise, including VisionPro and Deep Learning.
