　　Roles & Responsibilities- Finite Analysis Requirement

　　Simulation and Analysis: Perform finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS software tools to evaluate the structural integrity, performance, and behavior of mechanical components and systems.

　　Gather inputs, understand Loads & Boundary conditions & intent of the Analysis.

　　Develop approach note for the project, Estimate time required to perform the analysis & perform feasibility study.

　　Perform Finite Element Analysis of Turbo machinery components using Ansys workbench.

　　Understand the physics of the problem & offer simplified FEM solution to customer.

　　Perform 2D & 3D meshing , prepare FE model for the analysis.

　　Apply Loads & BC’s , set up solution options & perform Analysis.

　　Develop Analysis report & present to customer during Reviews.

　　Collaborate with the technical Leads & Project leads in scheduling deliverables of each activity.

　　Take part in internal technical reviews as well as customer reviews.

　　Design to meet the “Product safety, Manufacturing, Factory assembly, Serviceability, Transport , Ease of assembly, Validation, Cost target, Tool check, Quality requirements”

　　Tolerance Stake up, DFMEA, Structural Analysis, Hand calculations, Bolt design guidelines, Documentation requirements

　　Design change process, Design optimization

　　Engineering Materials, Structural steels(S235,S355), Alloy steels(42CrMo4,C45),Stainless steels(F316,F304), SG Iron castings steel (EN-GJS-350/EN-GJS-400), Aluminium and Composites

　　Material and Coating selection

　　Corrosion protection and application processes (HDG, 3Coat and 2Coat Painting scheme)

　　Manufacturing processes (Forging, Casting, Fabrication, Welding, Sheet metal)

　　Project timelines and cost

　　Past learnings (VOC),Multiple concepts, Cost effective, Compatibility check

　　Skills:

　　Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

　　Minimum of 5 years of experience in finite element analysis.

　　Proficiency in FEA software ANSYS, Design tools.

　　Strong understanding of structural mechanics and mechanical engineering principles.

　　Solid knowledge of materials and their behavior under different conditions.

　　Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

　　Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

　　Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
