Anticipated period of employment: 04/01/2024 to 12/01/2024.

　　Three months of farm work experience is required.

　　Plant, cultivate, harvest and pack fruits and vegetables including but not limited to: sweet corn, apples, peaches, tomatoes, string beans, pumpkins and cabbage. Perform ongoing orchard maintenance including pruning and thinning fruit trees. Workers are expected to possess the skills to work in the production of crops or agricultural commodities listed in this job order. The introductory period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of the job and to familiarize workers with job specifications and to demonstrate proper methods and crop or commodity specific issues. Bend, reach, stand and walk and work in a stooped or crouched position for prolonged periods of time; lift, carry and load up to 75 lbs. repetitively; work at a vigorous pace; climb, move, place and work on orchard ladders.
