WHAT WOULD MY DAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE? Provides accurate andtimely product, price, and delivery information on stock and customproducts. Processes stock orders, custom orders, sample, and quoterequests accurately and quickly in multiple systems while communicatingwith stakeholders on a continuous basis. Works cohesively and consultswith sales, office, and operations team members within the organization,as well as customers, vendors and contractors as needed on projects,technical specifications, and deadlines. Works directly with variousSales Reps and proactively with customers to generate sales growth froma portfolio of accounts by identifying customer current/future needs,up-selling, cross-selling and following up on quotes to turn these toorders. Work to build/strengthen relationships and to go above andbeyond requirements to improve the customer experience byunderstanding/clarifying expectations, taking ownership & initiative,demonstrating leadership, challenging the status quo, and resolving anycustomer objections through sound analysis, problem solving anddecisiveness. Answer customers\' questions about products, prices,availability, product uses, and credit terms. Recommend products tocustomers, based on customers\' needs and interests. Estimate or quoteprices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolveproblems and to provide ongoing support. Prepare sales contracts andorder forms. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors\'products, prices, and sales. Perform administrative duties, such aspreparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filingexpense account reports. Negotiate with retail merchants to improveproduct exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising. Check stocklevels and reorder merchandise as necessary. Plan, assemble, and stockproduct displays in retail stores, or make recommendations to retailersregarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising.Negotiate details of contracts and payments. Prepare drawings,estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs. Obtain creditinformation about prospective customers. Forward orders tomanufacturers. Arrange and direct delivery and installation of productsand equipment. Buy products from manufacturers or brokerage firms anddistribute them to wholesale and retail clients. ***** OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High schooldiploma or equivalent required; post-Secondary Education preferred.Strong interest in customer service or inside sales function; 5+ years\'previous experience strongly preferred Proven strong computer skillsespecially with ERP systems; desire strong Microsoft Office suite skillswith typing skills of 40-50 wpm. (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)Proven listening and strong communication skills (written and verbal)with the ability to articulate requests and actions in a concise, clear,and timely manner. Demonstrated ability to learn and retain variousproduct, quote, order, and manufacturing information/processes.Demonstrated ability to function independently and make informed/sounddecisions apart from direct supervision after training in a team-basedenvironment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous call center/customersupport experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of thevarious capabilities of both envelope and label machines.
