Basic Job requirements: must be able to lift 50lbs, exposure to extreme temperatures, extesnive pushing and pulling, sitting and walking, frequent stooping and bending over, and repetitive movements
Possible shift: 7:00AM-5:00PM. 40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Hay, Straw. Duties may include: Planting and cultivating hay, grass and straw. Mowing, raking, bailing, stacking, hauling and crop maintenance. Remove invasive plant species. Evaluate condition of hap crop and adjust harvesting activity based on evaluation. Loading/unloading trucks. Maintain, drive and operate farm equipment. & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Daily start and stop times may vary based on weather. Workers will perform duties at the employer-operated work locations whish may be within a one (1) to twenty (20) mile radius of the report to work address.
On-the-job training provided. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.50lbs. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours.
Must be 18 due to equipment use. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States.
Transportation: Transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st work week) for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment.
Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit.
