Plant, transplant, weed, thin, hoe, harvest, maintain,and other required tasks. Sort, wash, pack, prepare crops for storingand shipping. Transport, deliver crops from field to farm and/or retailstand. Transport, deliver crops for storing and shipping. Cut brush andother vegetation in and around fields, buildings, and equipment. Mayassemble wreaths with harvested materials. Operate, load, maintain,repair, unload trucks, tractors and other farm vehicles, implements andtrailers. Operate, maintain, repair vegetable washing, grading, sortingequipment. Will set up, maintain, and operate varied irrigationequipment. Repairs and maintains farm worker housing and structures.30-minute meal break.

  Crops: mixed organic vegetables, fruits, herbs.

  Two months experience in farm work, such as harvesting, planting,grading, and greenhouse production, is preferred. Must be able toperform job duties to employers\' satisfaction. Must be able to complywith instructions from supervisors. Must behave in a courteous,professional manner. Sundays may be offered. Daily beginning/ end timeswill vary depending on crop and other conditions.

  Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilitiesso that workers may prepare their own meals and will providetransportation to assure workers access to stores where they canpurchase groceries.

  Employer may provide occasional meals when kitchen facilities are notavailable, and if so, will not deduct the allowable meal rate.

  Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions or animal needsand weather conditions, depending on the job offered. The work day maybegin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours maybe required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours,weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions andneed.

  No smoking allowed in houses, shop, pickup, trucks, tractors, or anyother equipment. No use of illicit drugs or narcotics. At the solediscretion of the employer, workers may be required to submit to a posthire drug test, paid by the employer. Positive results or refusal totake the test may result in immediate termination.

  Only workers may occupy the housing unless other arrangements have beenmade with the employer. Workers must vacate the housing promptly at theend of the contract or upon termination.

  Employees are expected to keep their vehicles clean and free of trash.Employees are expected to conduct frequent cleanings of their housingand maintain the yard.

  Any worker found to have a criminal conviction, DWI, commits seriousacts of misconduct, refuses to follow instructions, violates work rules,fails to perform job duties in a competent manner, or other lawfuljob-related reasons will be subject to termination.

  Workers must be physically able to perform all job duties safely,quickly, and skillfully.

  Workers who have a clean driving record and insurable driver\'s licensemay be required to drive company vehicles.

  The employer will provide at no cost to workers an effective means ofcommunicating with persons capable of responding to the workers needs incase of an emergency.

  Employer may terminate Employee if the Employee (a) refuses withoutjustified cause to perform work for which the worker was recruited andhired, (b) commits a serious act of misconduct, or (c) fails, aftercompleting any training or break-in period, to reach productionstandards when production standards are applicable.
