　　Job Summary

　　The Farm Aide, under supervision, assists with the repairs, building, and maintenance of farm vehicles and equipment. Operates farm machinery and cuts and rakes grass around farm buildings and pastures.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities

　　Operates vehicles and farm equipment including combines, tractors, tillage implements, sprayers, shredders, planters, etc. in performing research and crop production duties.

　　Cuts, rakes, and bales hay. Mows farm roadside areas.

　　Builds and repairs fences around farm building , crops, and animal grazing pastures.

　　Participates in the repairing of farm machines, equipment, and vehicles.

　　Assists in working with cattle, including feeding and treating the livestock for either disease contraction or prevention.

　　Minimum Requirements

　　Education – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

　　Experience – No prior experience required .

　　Ability to – Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

　　Licensing / Professional Certification – Valid Driver License .

　　Physical Requirements – Ability to exert heavy force. Ability to lift heavy objects.
