ManTech is seeking an experienced Graphic Artist to support our innovative portfolio of Marine Corps programs.

This position requires an active DoD TOP SECRET w/ SCI clearance.
General Responsibilities:
Create and edit visual materials while following graphic design principles (alignment, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, proximity, balance, color, negative space) and elements (line, shape, form, texture, space, imagery, typography, and color) using applications such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator on a daily basis.
Demonstrate a good sense of design, color usage, and composition
Demonstrate an understanding of brand development and maintaining brand consistency
Create content that includes routine-to-complex graphics, publication design and layout, infographics, forms, briefs, illustrations, posters, logos, photography, videos, and websites to a professional standard for dissemination across the Marine Corps and wider DoD.
Construct visually attractive and easy to understand graphics from information received verbally and/or from visual formats
Develop graphics that improve comprehension of ideas and concepts
Develop graphics products that align to technical, procedural, and operational overviews and high-level conceptual
architectures
Develop graphics for publications that are designed to fit into and compliment the established publication layout
Layout visuals by integrating text content with graphic elements to create a visually attractive, purposeful, and valuable
product
Ensure all graphic content compliments and adds value to the medium or purpose for which it is being used, and is produced to quality standards
Create logos, icons, and other original graphic artifacts as requested and as needed to augment graphic product requirement
Minimum Requirement:
Active DoD Top Secret w/ SCI security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree (+5 years’ experience), Associate’s Degree (+7 years’ experience), or High School Diploma (+12 years’ experience)
Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in producing, reviewing, and improving a wide variety of graphics design products for technical, non-technical, and senior executive audiences
Must be able to successfully engage stakeholders to solicit requirements, and then translate their needs into meaningful graphical content
Must have extensive experience and proven results utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud products, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Must be able to work collaboratively with other designers, focusing on the customer and end product
Must have an understanding of digital and print media production requirements
Must possess the ability to work independently or collaboratively to proactively meet deadlines, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate to all levels of a large organization
Preferred Skills:
Ability to hand draw concepts and ideas in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps programs, organizational structure, and interoperability requirements
Previous support to military organizations producing and delivering graphics products
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
