JOB DESCRIPTION

　　TITLE: Family and Consumer Science Teacher

　　PRIMARY FUNCTION:

　　Develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

　　DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Valid certification, or willing to obtain certification, to meet state requirements with specific endorsement in the area which assigned;

　　Outstanding knowledge of academic subject matter and continuing activities to expand this knowledge.

　　Demonstrated leadership abilities evidencing an ability to command respect and enforce discipline in the classroom.

　　Acceptable references of teaching experience or student teaching experience, if applicable.

　　Knowledge and experience in basic computer hardware; working knowledge of instructional software and classroom applications.

　　Demonstrated interest in the community and its students.

　　Performance will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of personnel.
