  SUMMARYAnsys empowers the world's most innovative companies to design and deliver transformational products by offering the best and broadest engineering simulation software to solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products limited only by imagination. Thus, through our enriching internship program, we help develop the next-generation of engineers and technologists.As a Product QA co-op, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on a variety of impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate Ansys products.In this internship, you will support our Product QA Team. This is a 40-hour per week paid position starting August 2024 and concluding December 2024.

  RESPONSIBILITIESPerform interactive and automated testing of Ansys softwareDebug tests and create new defects as applicableReview and investigate existing defects within Ansys softwareCollaborate with developers on different Ansys teamsCreate new automated tests using internal toolsAnalyze results and communicate findings to team membersAdhere to all quality procedures when performing assigned tests

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSPursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program.

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCandidates should have hand-on experience with debugging software/hardware issuesCandidates must show desire to develop coding experience skillsCandidates should exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work individuallyCandidates should either have exposure to engineering simulation software and/or a strong desire to learn about engineering simulation softwareCandidates should have strong Windows system skills and at least some exposure to Linux operating systemsExposure/experience with coding is a good quality but not a must upon hiring
