We are seeking a Facility/Security Manager to serve as a member of our F135 Government Security Compliance team supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and other programs at Edwards AFB, CA. The Facility/Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the Edwards AFB location is compliant to all USAF and U.S. Government requirements across a spectrum of programs to include all security, safety, and training requirements. Additionally, this position provides administrative support to the Site Manager and is responsible for logistical and financial functions. The Facility/Security Manager will be responsible for writing, maintaining, and updating a library of security processes and requirements, safety implementation, administrative security management, and preparing training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Input and schedule base visitor and new hire registration requests.
Coordinate with security officers for base access. Coordinate on-boarding/off-boarding and security processing of new/transferred employees.
Conduct Safety Briefings for all new hires. Process security clearances for new hires and clearance renewals.
Processes badging needed for employees and visitors. Coordinate with administrative staff and security officers across the base.
Coordinate employee engagement opportunities throughout the year. Request work orders for general repairs of the building. Maintain site financials and purchase orders for facility needs.
Receive quotes from multiple vendors and input payments into the system.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Possess or be able to obtain a Secret or higher DoD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Obtain and maintain any additional security clearance requirements required for this program.
Understanding of development and coordination of standard operating procedures, standard work, and training packages
Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of computer programs to include Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint.
High level of comfort briefing groups of people to include executive leadership and military personnel.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
