　　Primary purpose and function of this position:

　　The purpose of the Facilities & Security Operations Associate is to provide general facility support and serve as a back-up to the Security Operations Supervisor. This position will be responsible for all warehouse/dock services such as; shipping and receiving, mail/package deliveries, warehousing and inventory of pharmacy and general office supplies. This position may also work with building service vendors. In addition, this position will work with Security to provide a safe and secure work environment with an emphasis on the protection of people, property, products, and information from both internal and external threats.

　　Perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, warehousing and supplies inventory management

　　Process incoming and outgoing UPS, Fed-Ex, courier deliveries and etc. and deliver packages and boxes to office recipients

　　Provide general facility support by fulfilling routine light maintenance work, room set up, moving office equipment and furniture

　　General customer service work that involves greeting and assisting visitors, employees and vendors

　　Monitor and implement established security and facility policies and procedures to all employees, guests and vendors which includes providing access capabilities, identification badges for control entry to the facility, and monitor the facility and perimeter parking areas.

　　Make routine checks of facility ensuring safety and security.

　　Perform any necessary follow-up tasks to ensure facility is secure.

　　Provide assistance in all emergency situations such as; fire alarms, tornado warnings, medical emergencies, etc.

　　Requirements

　　2 years experience in facility or safety/security work

　　Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word & Excel

　　Experience with dock operation equipment such as, pallet jacks, fork-lifts

　　Experience managing supplies inventory

　　Ability to follow oral/written instructions: communicate effectively with management, colleagues and external customers. Conduct effective building patrols, observe and report irregularities to Security Management.

　　Ability to work in dock surroundings and perform heavy lifting, some physical labor work; pushing, pulling, stooping, and lifting containers, materials, packages up to 45 pounds. Stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

　　Experience with Security systems such as; alarm monitoring, CCTV, fire monitoring, access control, would be a plus
