Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician

　　Shift: M-F 6:00am-2:00pm

　　Reports To: Maintenance Manager

　　Job Class: FH

　　Location: Brimfield

　　General Responsibility – Perform inspections and maintenance and on assigned equipment and instrumentation.

　　Job Duties/Essential Functions –

　　Perform preventative maintenance and repair on assigned equipment and instrumentation

　　Basic building

　　Scope of Support:Plumbing, Electrical, Fire System, Air Compressors, EPA compliance inspections/maintenance, Safety compliance inspections/maintenance, General Building and Grounds Support.

　　Communicate with supervisor and production personnel to ensure efficient operations

　　Responsible for organization and housekeeping of plant utilities areas and maintenance shop

　　Develop PM program for building maintenance

　　Must be able to effectively communicate with others both verbally and in writing

　　Ability to prioritize tasks.

　　Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment

　　Attention to detail and organization is critical

　　Minimum Requirements –

　　Facility maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics and general building maintenance

　　Job related experience with troubleshooting of five to ten years or more for items listed above

　　Able to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints

　　Must be able to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing

　　Physically able to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and lift up to 50 pounds

　　Must successfully complete the Lock Out/ Tag Out training within reasonable amount of time.

　　Lift Truck certified (preferred but not necessary.)If not certified in Lift Truck, must become certified in reasonable amount of time.

　　Must follow all safety procedures/ be a part of the safety team.

　　Must wear/ use all required PPE, to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, mechanics gloves (when required), steel toe boots, etc.

　　High School Diploma or GED required.

　　Available to be called into work in cases of emergency.

　　TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

　　MUST COMPLETE ALL OSHA REQUIRED TRAINING and Newell Safety Programs

　　Lift Truck certification preferred
