Job Summary: At Burns Buick GMC Hyundai Genesis, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Marlton, New Jersey. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various areas of our dealership, including the building, grounds, and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to ensure our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facility maintenance and a strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities may include: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. - Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify any maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner. - Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that may arise. - Ensure all safety systems, equipment, and procedures are in place and functioning properly. - Maintain and repair all grounds, including mowing, snow removal, and landscaping. - Oversee and manage any outside contractors or service providers as needed. - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. - Order and maintain an inventory of necessary supplies and equipment. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role. - Strong mechanical and technical skills. - Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
