Our client, a global leader in eCommerce is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the data center facilities team supporting the troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of the electrical and mechanical systems of the facility. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and facilities operations] which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sterling, VA
Pay Range: $37.23/HR on Experis W2
What’s the Job?
Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
Inspect mechanical and electrical issues and problem solve
Troubleshooting
Will work with a ticketing system, maintenance tracking, etc.
What’s Needed?
Mechanical and/or Electrical Operations experience - 2 years
Mechanical and or electrical troubleshooting – 2 years
Familiar with Procedures in this field
Familiar with and Utilize building management systems
Lift up to 40 lbs
