　　The Facilities Maintenance Custodial Technician is part of the Team within the Operations Maintenance and Custodial department.

　　This position will join the experienced team to support the Maintenance and Custodial staff with maintaining the facilities.

　　This includes all Ohio facility locations

　　This team's responsibilities include:

　　Provide support for all Facility Maintenance and Custodial Staff.Perform preventative facility maintenance and custodial duties in and around all Ohio facilities.Performs minor and moderate repairs and responds to emergency calls for service. Implements setup and takedown for a variety of community events when needed.The Facilities Maintenance Custodial Technicican has broad responsibilities and is distinguished from the custodian by the equipment and moderate facility maintenance and repair work performed. This position may require work at any of the facilities. Works closely with other staff to meet the needs of the facility and resolves problems to ensure efficient and safe operations in assigned areas. Must be willing to be on a ladder.Key Responsibilities

　　Inspects plumbing and performs repairs when needed. This is a main priority to keep costs of water usage to usage and not waste.Inspect electrical outlets and repair them when needed. This is a priority to keep the facilities safe.Inspect cabinets and furniture and repair as needed to keep them safe and in good working order.Maintains floors including cleaning and waxing. Burnish floors as part of regular maintenance.Services and maintains equipment used by the custodial department. Performs electrical and mechanical repairs on custodial equipment.Performs routine custodial work such as vacuuming, shampooing, and spot cleaning carpets, removing trash in accordance with established procedures, cleaning, disinfecting and stocking paper supplies in restrooms and hallways as needed.Replaces light bulbs and batteries when needed. Replaces light ballasts as needed.Drywall repairs and painting as neededRepairs furniture and doors as well as replaces door locks when needed as well as any other minor changes that are to be included in the tasks needed.Maintains the storage areas and keeps them swept and clean.Replaces ceiling tiles when neededPerforms preventative maintenance as well as keeps outside areas clean and repaired including playgrounds as needed.Assists other staff as neededMaintains inventory and submits requests for supplies.Job Type: Full-time
