　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　Assists in Preventive Maintenance activities of the equipment. Upkeep of production equipment facility and grounds.

　　ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Assist with facility PMs.Cleans/paints/upkeep of facility equipment.General painting duties (floors, walls, etc.)General facility upkeepCompletes proper paperwork and documentation.Participates in annual planning process, understanding plant objectives and identifying improvements to help attain goals.Performs other duties as necessary in support of the Facilities and surrounding areas. Works independently on assigned projects that range from simple one person jobs to multiple jobs giving direction to multiple outside contractors. Specific responsibilities include the maintenance and troubleshooting and of:

　　HVAC system for the office and plant floor, Water softener, RO system, Mefog humidification system, tower water cooling system, tower water treatment, air make up units, boilers, air compressors, air dryers, grounds sprinkler system, building interior and exterior walls, building interior floors, facilities outside asphalt and concrete surfaces, membrane roof, roof exhaust fans and stacks, all interior and exterior doors, dock plates and locks, interior and exterior lighting, building and grounds drainage, fire protection system, facilities plumbing and warehouse racking.

　　Participates in continuous improvement processes. May work on projects involving cost reduction, energy reduction, up-time improvement, or evaluation of new equipment, etc. Establishes new preventative maintenance procedures and periodically audits/updates existing procedures.Performs all work in compliance with Magna and Magna Sealing and Glass Systems Health, Safety and. Environmental policies and procedures as well as all federal, State and local laws; promptly report any hazardous condition or workplace injury to immediate supervisor or EHS designate.

　　REQUIREMENTS:

　　High school diploma in order to possess skills necessary to perform job; or equivalent. Experience in preventive maintenance preferred. Demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills to manage, prioritize, and deal with many issues at one time.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Demonstrated good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to communicate with internal and external contacts and work in a team environment.

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

　　The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT:

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally work in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.

　　CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

　　Forklift license

　　Scissorlift and boomlift licenses
