　　GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE FACILITIES 5S & EHS TECHNICIAN

　　Lead 5S and continuous improvement projects throughout the plant. Works with assistance to minimize manufacturing machine downtime using corrective and preventive maintenance. Maintains Acument Global Technologies’ manufacturing equipment. Assists with the implementation and execution of company EH&S programs and operation-specific programs at the plant level to reduce facility EH&S liability related to present and future operations.

　　PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Completes continuous improvement projects such as 5S.

　　Implement ways to reduce costs, increase productivity, and eliminate waste.

　　Assists with the recordkeeping of documents related to EH&S programs to ensure they are maintained and are current.

　　Leads monthly Safety Committee Meetings and New Hire Safety Orientations

　　Assists in the management of the plant’s SIO (Safety Improvement Opportunity) Program

　　Works closely with EHS Manager & Maintenance Supervisor to ensure Plant required Federal, State and Company compliance obligations are met

　　Follows safe working practices and procedures.

　　Performs responsibilities for the Environmental Management System.

　　All other duties as assigned by Plant Staff or Supervisor.

　　EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

　　HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.

　　Fluent in English (both strong verbal and written communication skills).

　　Proficient in MS Word/Google Doc and MS Excel/Google Sheets

　　Previous EHS experience preferred

　　1stshift, Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
