　　The Welder will work on Gas Turbine Manufacturing; All types of welding equipment, cutting and brazing torches, standard and special fixtures, hand and power tools (blending operations), measuring devices, material handling equipment such as

　　fork trucks, jib and floor operated cranes, a variety of standard and special tools.

　　Essential Responsibilities

　　Prepare, arrange, and assemble material and components

　　Apply all types of welding processes to various parts and assemblies in all positions on or off the turbine

　　Perform all duties as part of a team.

　　Perform other related / assigned duties

　　Participate in Safety, Quality, and Productivity Improvement.

　　Materials used: Variety of components, pipe, pipe fittings, materials, components, etc., welding materials, andsupplies

　　Qualifications:

　　Graduate of an accredited welding program-Or-

　　Minimum of two years industrial/construction or similar commercial welding experience-And-

　　Must meet medical/physical Fabricator Operator requirements-And-

　　Must be proficient in Tig welding-And-

　　Must successfully pass required weld testing and certify in the following: GTAW (Tig)-And-

　　Must successfully pass a manufacturing assessment

　　High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

　　18 years of age or older

　　Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job

　　Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

　　Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment

　　Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or 100% of a shift (with the exception of breaks), with or without reasonable accommodation

　　Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $26.908 -28.047. This position is also eligible for shift premium when you work on an off shift i.e. 2nd or 3rd shift. Plus $1.00 USD an hour on top of base pay. This posting is expected to close on March 18th, 2024.
