　　Deliver new, compelling designs solutions and product innovations for automotive exterior and interior, as well as future mobility solutions.

　　 Passionate, aspiring designer who wants to take on this challenging role with meaningful contribution to China and global market.

　　 The position is in the Shanghai Advanced Design Studio.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　 Create fresh, innovative ideas with a stretch and forward thinking.

　　 Work traditionally and digitally (2D and 3D) for concepts and production programs.

　　 Create inspiring and innovative forward thinking visions, defining customer experiences through story boarding, setting up architectural bandwidth and customer landscape analysis.

　　 Self-driven with leadership role on project developments.

　　 Project ownership and drive the team for high quality deliverables with timing discipline.

　　 Total awareness and apply constructive design feedbacks from management reviews to improve design proposals.  Work creatively within technical package/constraints.

　　 Frequent coaching of design bandwidth and maturity to the local designers in all levels from idea generation, sketching, 3D modeling, final renderings, and understanding of proportions.

　　 Interface with program engineering team during design development and feasibility phase.

　　 Lead and supervise work with suppliers on model and prototype builds.

　　 Work with cross-functional team (Advanced Product Marketing, Product Planning, Engineering, GCI) to develop innovative product concepts.

　　 Create artistic, compelling presentation to senior management.

　　 Understand marketing brief/information, with the ability to internalize key takeaways from design perspective at auto shows and market research events, and to apply these insights with reference to China's social transformation & cultural heritage, latest market trends & innovations etc.; identify future opportunities for Ford and Lincoln Brands.

　　 Awareness of the emerging trends, latest technologies, design trends & innovations and have strong analytical skill to identify customer opportunities from both Design and Marketing perspective.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　 Bachelor in Automotive Design/ Industrial Design/ Product Design, 5+ years in major design studios preferred

　　 Visionary and passionate about Automotive Design.

　　 Academic degrees and work experience in Automotive Design.

　　 Strong 2D & 3D digital capabilities. Well experienced in both Exterior and Interior design & development on concepts and production projects.

　　 Ability to think three-dimensionally, with a strong emphasis on proportions, sophistication, and a refined sense of graphics and form.  Experience in strategic/process/research projects.

　　 Highly developed User Centric Design thinking.

　　 Deep understanding / knowledge in Automobile Design and Design Process.

　　 Proficiency in applying and translating cultural insights to design characteristics.
