Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional servicesconsulting firm, has a position available for an experienced electricalengineer. Responsibilities include designing low and medium voltage powersystems, lighting systems and associated controls, fire alarm and massnotification systems; preparing construction plans and specifications ofelectrical systems; developing probable construction costs; providingconstruction administration and site visits; mentoring less experiencedstaff. Some travel will be required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have all of the following:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineeringfrom an accredited four-year college or universityAt least five years of relevant electrical experiencePE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other statesThe ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls,fire alarm and detection systemsPreparing construction document drawings using RevitDesigning electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings andspecificationsProviding construction administration services and site visits related toelectrical systemsMentoring less experienced engineers and designersIf you have strong communication and organizational skills, are someone whotakes initiative, and can work well both independently and as part of ateam, complete the online application process for this job posting atwww.meadhunt.com/careers. Salary Range: $95,000 to $130,000 - Actual compensation may vary dueto other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
