　　As an Executive Underwriter on the Wholesale Management Liability Team at Navigators, a Brand of The Hartford, your primary role will be to underwrite and actively pursue new business, underwrite and maintain a profitable renewal book of business, and service the needs of our brokerage partners on an account by account basis. The Wholesale Management Liability Team focuses on management liability products for private companies. Products include primary and excess directors & officers liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, commercial crime, and kidnap & ransom.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.3 + years of management liability underwriting experience.Wholesale insurance broker relationships preferred.Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining solid relationships with all internal and external business partners.Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.An ability to think analytically about business problems, make recommendations and propose solutions.High energy self-starter, who is resilient and has an entrepreneurial spirit.Demonstration of solid time, organizational, and desk management skills.Goal-oriented and delivers outcomes.Ability to challenge the status quo and compete to win.Superior technical knowledge and sound decision-making and analytical skills.Valid driver's license as a company pool car may be provided.

　　This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near our Charlotte, NC office will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who reside in the Southeast in GA, FL, NC, SC, AL, TN, MS, or LA will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

　　Compensation

　　The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

　　The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
