The Disney Entertainment Television Marketing team is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Freeform Social & Experiential executives. As an Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative and other supportive tasks. This role supports the VP, Social and the Executive Director, Experiential. The ideal candidate for this role is proactive, organized, efficient, and able to stay up to date in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, enjoys collaboration, and is able to juggle multiple things at once.
Responsibilities:
Handle all scheduling responsibilities in a proactive nature
Prepare and manage expense reports plus book occasional travel
Coordinate meetings with 10+ attendees: prepare agendas, secure and plan space, facilitate and follow up as appropriate
Attend meetings, take notes and track action items
Serve as a liaison between various teams and groups under Social and Experiential
Manage distribution lists and contact/assignment sheets
Provide additional office support such as organizing documents, ordering supplies, and processing purchase orders and billing related items
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years administrative experience in entertainment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail
Able to prioritize against busy schedules and ever-changing calendars and work environment
Exceptional communication skills
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, nothing is too large or too small and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs/Spreadsheets, Gmail and Zoom
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solve at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years administrative experience in entertainment, ideally in marketing
Passion for pop culture and all things television
Past experience at a major studio or streamer is a plus
Candidate should have a strong passion for entertainment, pop culture and television, while also be familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures, especially in marketing
Ability to troubleshoot tech issues as they arise
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $52,400 to $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
