Salary range: $69,300 to $128,600 BOE
About this role:
The Workday Security Lead is responsible for resolving issues and managing a core segment (Security) within Workday with minimal direct supervision. Assist in the configuration of Workday, including standard configurations and business process configurations, as well as straightforward reporting. Assist HRIS leadership in project management and serve as a key resource for COE's in North America.
Major Responsibilities:
HRIS Workday Security Lead supports specified Human Resource areas (Benefits, Payroll, HCM, Reporting, Admin, Onboarding, etc) in North America.
Provide consultation & impact analysis to COEs, building knowledge, gathering requirements, designing & configuring solutions.
Responsible for the data configurations in the Workday system relevant to the role (i.e.: Modules, Tables, Hierarchies, Security, Releases, Profiles).
Research and architect solutions and advise/counsel the functional business leaders and program owners.
Oversee tasks assigned to supporting analyst(s).
Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the usage of Workday.
Configure, test validate, and implement Business Process Changes in Workday.
Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday.
Collaborate with COEs on system changes to roll out a new process.
Lead weekly/biweekly communications with partner COE.
Coordinate with other Functional Leads on projects that have cross-team implications.
Responsible for the resolution of Tier 2 (functional and integration configurations) Help desk issues and acting as a resource for Tier 3 (SME data) as requested. Be solutions-oriented when users identify functionality issues with the system and escalate these issues to the appropriate individuals to address in a responsive and timely manner, if necessary.
Promote change management efforts including adoption of new systems and functionality, programs, and process changes.
Minimum Experience & Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
3 or more years’ experience within the Workday Security module.
Ability to work within a team structure, collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve assigned tasks.
Ability to prioritize work, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail and organization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to think in terms of conditional logic and cause-and-effect impact.
Develop an understanding and expertise in HR Operations and employee data management.
Able to learn new skills, adapt quickly, and embrace change
