Job Summary: Key Job Responsibilities

The Executive Director, Digital Channel Strategy is responsible for overseeing and shaping the digital presence and strategy of Cedars-Sinai.

Shapes and directs the strategic vision for web, digital marketing, digital content, and social media initiatives at Cedars-Sinai. Creates comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the Cedars-Sinai's overall mission, vision, and business objectives, with a focus on leading patient engagement, education, and care delivery.

Responsibilities include overseeing web operations, crafting and executing a 3-5 year strategic roadmap for Cedars-Sinai's digital channels to ensure sustained growth and alignment with strategic goals, including but not limited to growing our web presence, establishing customer acquisition cost strategies, and leading digital marketing efforts to enhance targeted acquisitions (volume and net income) and overall brand awareness. Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing and Communications and other organizational leaders to implement key strategic digital marketing initiatives across all major institutional areas, including service lines, academics, research, and education.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a related field

Master's Degree MBA or a master's in a relevant field can be advantageous

Licenses:

No license or certification required

Experience:

12 years Proven experience in digital marketing, web management, and content strategy, ideally within a healthcare or related industry.

8 years Senior management roles related to digital strategy, marketing, or communications.

Physical Demands:

Sit at a desk or table with some walking, standing, bending, stooping, or carrying of light objects.

Perform continuous operation of a personal computer for four hours or more.

Use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects and/or operate equipment.
