As an EV Software Controls Engineer for (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our R&D facility in , you will be accountable for developing, implementing, and testing EV controls software and hardware and for creating component and system-level design and release documentation for our electric vehicle systems.Additionally, your role as Senior EV Software and Controls Engineer will be instrumental in shaping the future of how electric specialty are designed, built, and delivered.Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.You will also be accountable for:Developing, implementing, and testing of EV controls software and hardwarePerforming controls strategy development and verification for electric vehicle components and systemsDesigning improvements to existing and future EV software systemsBuilding and modifying Simulink code to run on a real-time embedded targetInterfacing with the production team to resolve engineering change requestsParticipating in component selection and verification activitiesCreating manufacturing, assembly, and service-related documentationExpand your knowledge of and by exploring the Learn More section below.What you need to be successful
