Do you have a great eye for detail? Are you looking to make a career at growing company? We're looking for an estimator like you to join our client's growing team of engineers and professionals in the fabrication industry. As an estimator, you'll plans and coordinates manufacturing processes in a cost accounting environment. The right candidates will be detail and customer service oriented, and someone with an engineering background with experience in the metal fabrication industry.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

The Estimator plans and coordinates manufacturing processes in a cost accounting environment: evaluates and develops manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, and assembly methods.

Calculates activities covering materials consumption, production Labor costs, and prepare cost estimates. Will analyze actual cost variances to update standards. Also must prepare a summarized Cost Sheet with the Details of Material Consumption, and Manpower/labor Consumption.

Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and inquires for price and availability of materials, parts, lead-times, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.

Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide

information for management

Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules.Skills
