NextGen ERP is a large, sophisticated multi-year program crafted to transform the way the electric utility operates. The SAP Technical Lead (EAM), Senior Advisor will help drive digital transformation by collaborating with various IT teams, system integrators, and business teams to adopt and implement the SAP EAM module(s). You will ensure that the technical implementation of the solution aligns with business requirements. You will review functional and technical specifications as well as provide support during go live and post go live hypercare. You will ensure that the solution is aligned with development best practices, while communicating status to the project management team.

Serve as the technical lead for SAP EAM solution and oversee design and implementation for the NextGen ERP program
Collaborate with business teams, IT, and system integrators to deliver effective solutions that are aligned with SAP best practices
Use deep technical expertise in SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and ABAP development to ensure that designs meet functional and technical requirements
Create technical specifications of the proposed solutions and perform peer reviews
Support testing and deployment of the solution during go live in various phases of the program
Qualifications
The essentials
Ten (10) or more years of SAP ABAP development experience in one or more of the following modules: (AM, FI, MM, SD, WM, PM, EWM).
Two (2) or more years of experience in S/4 HANA on-prem/cloud, and Fiori full-stack development.
Experience and advanced knowledge in utilities or manufacturing industries.
Extensive experience with creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical specifications.
Experience in implementing S/4 HANA greenfield or upgrading ECC to S/4 HANA.
The preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical major.
Three (3) or more years of experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions.
Ten (10) or more years of experience collaborating with business customers, solution architects, system integrators, and development teams to understand user cases, and translating them into robust solutions.
Excellent communication, project management, and organization skills.
Experience and solid knowledge of the electric utilities industry and its business processes or data flows.
SAP certificate in ABAP Development, Asset Management, or related S/4 HANA modules.

This position’s work mode is *hybrid. * The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
