　　Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Equipment Tech based in Pecos, Texas.

　　The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the prevent/predict maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oilfield surface equipment. This includes knowledge and skills to maintain equipment reliability of various pumps, compression (screw and reciprocating packages), and associated plant/field surface equipment.

　　Roles and Responsibilities:

　　General

　　• Provide input on facility design and make recommendations for cost saving changes

　　• Total visual inspection ((i.e. belts, guards, leaks) the monthly pm should be conducted by the production tech, also minor first line maintenance should be conducted by production tech

　　Well Location

　　• Repair, replace, and calibrate head switches performed by AT

　　• Inspect air compressor system (change oil, check switches, etc.)

　　• Visual inspection first line maintenance by operations

　　• Repair and replace valves as needed

　　• Maintain VRUs (change oil, check settings and switches, etc.)

　　• Repair, replace, and calibrate head switches

　　• Repair and replace valves

　　• Assist Construction Specialist in the coordination/supervision of contract work being performed

　　• Monitor Surface Contractor Safety performance on lease

　　• Build and maintain and present expense charts for monthly business meeting

　　High School Graduate or G.E.D.

　　· Knowledge of Maximo or similar program to track equipment inventory, repairs, and costs

　　· Prepares measuring and testing devices required for maintenance and overhaul activities.

　　· Describes what vibration is, why it occurs, how to measure vibration, interpret the reasons of vibration for safe operation.

　　· Describes the function of gear pumps and components, how to maintain and overhaul gear pumps and correct maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for safe operation.
