Consultants please conduct a seated interview. Applicants must have 20days experience with Farm / Irrigation / Livestock work. Applicantshired must be able to obtain a valid driver\'s license as driving onpublic roads may be required. Applicants must be able to lift up to 100pounds. Dates of need are (3/15/2024 11/15/2024) This order is for workin Dietrich, Idaho area. Job duties may require a split shift such as5:00 to 9:00 AM and 5:00 to 9:00 PM, as well as evening and/or nightshifts spanning two calendar days due to crop demands. Worker will berequired to perform a variety of duties related to the production ofwheat, corn, hay, sugar beets, and beef cattle. The majority of the workactivities during the overall contract period, however, will be relatedto agricultural equipment operation. General Farm Work will include thefollowing responsibilities: maintain, drive, attach and operate farmimplements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilizeand harvest crops; make minor mechanical adjustments and repairs on farmmachinery; may mix and/or spray chemicals (according to appropriaterestrictive use laws, when/if applicable); remove undesirable and excessgrowth from crops or farm grounds; remove rocks from field; paint/repairfarm structures; replace/repair fencing; perform general clean up offarm areas; drive, load/unload trucks; operate motor bike or all-terrainvehicle in the course of performing duties. Irrigation duties willinclude the following: Hand lines: connect pipes; check alignment ofpipe and adjust for proper water distribution; attach lines to watersupply; turn on pump; check oil and change filter; turn valves to startflow of water; disassemble lines and carry pipes across fields atspecified intervals; move pipes through freshly irrigated crops and/orplowed fields where mud may be deep at times; lift and carry pipesections weighing approximately 40 pounds on a sustained basis. Pivots:push on switch that activates circle sprinkler system; repair/changetires; maintain gear boxes including electrical repair; repair centerdrives. Other Irrigation Duties: remove pipes/wheel lines from storageand lay out/place in predetermined patterns in fields; lubricate,adjust, repair and replace parts such as sprinkler heads and drivechains using hand tools; observe revolving sprinklers and adjust toensure proper operation and uniform distribution of water; disassemble,service and store pipes/mainlines/wheel lines after irrigation season.To meet minimum acceptable performance standards when irrigating, theworker must, after a 10 day conditioning period, move an average of atleast 48 40-foot sections of 3-inch pipe or 44 40-foot sections of4-inch pipe per hour under normal working conditions.
