DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position is located within the Division of Installation Maintenance at FTIG in Annville, Pennsylvania. As an Equipment Operator B, you perform duties and skilled work in the operation and maintenance of lite and heavy equipment used on various FTIG job assignments. Some of the vehicles you operate have a gross vehicle weight exceeding 32,000 pounds. Equipment consists of but not limited to D-8 dozers, pans, large track hoes, large track loaders, graders, backhoes, tankers, rollers, and cranes. In addition, you are required to operate heavy equipment around both overhead and buried utilities such as gas, water, sewer, phone, and cable lines for tasks such as installation of utilities, repairs, and new construction.
You are required to communicate effectively and clearly following standard procedures and policies. You operate all equipment safely in all types of conditions, and must be willing to make independent decisions on assignments for safety, timeliness, and proper completion.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work weekWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; orTwo years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; orAny equivalent combination of experience or training.Special Requirements:You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license that is not currently under suspension.You must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement and air brake restriction removed that is not currently under suspension.Additional Requirements:
Must be willing and able to work in Lebanon County, PAYou must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):This position is in Annville, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Willingness and ability to work in Lebanon County, PA.Class C Commercial Driver's License needs to have no restrictions.Experience in the operation of Refuse/ Recycling Truck.Experience operating wheeled/tract front-end loaders.Experience do you have in the operation of heavy trucks / tractor trailers.Experience with snow removal preferred.Experience with grass cutting using a large tractor with a gang-mower attachment.Legal Requirements:
